- Head over to this amazing math resource and click ENTER. Next, click GEOMETRY. Then, lick on BASIC SHAPES and CIRCLE. You may want to just read this over with your child from the computer, or you may want to print it out and add it to their notebook to review often. While you are there, click on SQUARE and COMPASS POINTS.

- When learning about circles, it's a great time to introduce simple fractions. Education.com has a simple and cute pizza fractions worksheet to print for free.

- Learn how to use circles and ellipses to draw objects.
Ellipse:
- Have your child draw at least seven fish using this lesson. It's really easy for even the smallest hands with this 4 step method. After they have drawn their fish have them color or decorate them. Cut them out and use them for counters to make the parts of 7.
- Kidsparkz has a free printable fish bowl counting mat to download and print. This printable includes fish counters, but if you can allow the time for your child to create their own, it will be more enjoyable! They also have a pizza counting mat as well, that would be fun to add to your fraction lesson!
